Thermal insulation technician wanted in Warren County

Now hiring: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Warren County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy building site. Day to day you will lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling. What we are looking for: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
