We are recruiting: we are hiring an auto painter in Durham County, North Carolina. You will be based in a car refinishing workshop. The role involves prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper. What we are looking for: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
