Immediate opening: prep cook (Utah)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a prep cook in Garfield County, Utah. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. What we are looking for: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards On the job you will handle: • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service 4+ years on the tools preferred.
