Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Lawrence County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 6+ years on the tools preferred.
