Vacancy available: forklift driver (Alaska)

Join our team: we are hiring a forklift driver in North Slope Borough, Alaska. You will be based on a factory shop floor. Your main tasks: • Pick and put away stock against pick lists and the RF scanner • Charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely • Log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book • Operate counterbalance and reach trucks within the marked aisles • Read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit • Sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris Requirements: • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
