Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; carry out 6G pipe welds where required.
