Ironing operator — Russell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Russell County, Virginia. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep You will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
