Brickwork mason — Chase County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Chase County, Kansas. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
