Tile setter — Yusufari

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile setter in Yusufari, Yobe State. The job is on a new-build housing development. Day-to-day duties: • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line You should have: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
