Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality checker in Nicholas County, West Virginia. Day to day you will check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing. What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
