Counter butcher • Anglesey, Wales

We are recruiting: we are hiring a counter butcher in Anglesey, Wales. On a typical shift you will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
