Powder coating operator — Cumberland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Cumberland County, New Jersey. The job is at an automotive components factory. The role involves: • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
