Scaffolding erector — Platte County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Platte County, Missouri. You will work on an industrial refinery shutdown. You should have: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms On the job you will handle: • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
