Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • 2+ years' experience as a baker Your main tasks: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Score the top of loaves before baking Rotating shifts.
