Great opportunity: we are hiring an auto painter in Monroe County, Alabama. You will be based at a dealership paint shop. Your main tasks: • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio Requirements: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $230 per day plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
