We are recruiting: we are hiring a cook in Delaware County, Indiana. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure You will follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; prepare the mise en place before each service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks.
