Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Kunchi, Kano State. On the job you will handle: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 2+ years on the tools preferred. ₦1,800 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
