Hydraulic crane operator • Kendall County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Kendall County, Illinois. You will be based on a busy construction site. The role involves: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
