CNC milling operator — DeSoto County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in DeSoto County, Florida. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. On the job you will handle: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
