Rigging foreman wanted in St. Clair County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in St. Clair County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams The role involves: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
