Vacancy available: restoration bricklayer (New Mexico)

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Cibola County, New Mexico. You will be based at a residential building site. Your main tasks: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
