Lift installation engineer • Merced County, California

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Merced County, California. Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
