Now hiring: crawler dozer operator (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Erath County, Texas. You will be based at an open-cast mine. Day to day you will grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid. Ideal candidate: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
