MIG welder — Davie County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Davie County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Rotating shifts.
