You should have: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Day-to-day duties: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
