Sewing machine operator — Yankwashi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Yankwashi, Jigawa State. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Day-to-day duties: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. ₦70,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
