You will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
