Vacancy available: we are hiring a VMC operator in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. You will work at an automotive components factory. The role involves set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Full-time with occasional weekends.
