Rebar worker — Gubio

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar worker in Gubio, Borno State. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Day-to-day duties: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. ₦180,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
