Banksman — Red River Parish

On the job you will handle: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Rotating shifts.
