Panel technician — Eastern Obolo

Now hiring: we are hiring a panel technician in Eastern Obolo, Akwa Ibom State. You will work in an insurance-approved repair centre. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement The role involves: • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
