CNC programmer-operator — Rockcastle County

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Part-time with flexible hours.
