Offshore rigger wanted in Oceana County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Oceana County, Michigan. You will work at a container port. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On a typical shift you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position.
