Earthmoving plant operator wanted in Greene County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Greene County, Illinois. The role involves load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination We offer $20 per hour plus benefits.
