Sheet metal welder — Quitman County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Quitman County, Georgia. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination The role involves select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
