Brick and block layer wanted in Ellis County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Ellis County, Texas. The job is at a renovation and extension job. You will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
