We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Hale County, Texas. The job is at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
