Machine operator (earthworks) — Kaufman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Kaufman County, Texas. The job is at a drainage and utilities contractor. The role involves: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Full-time with occasional weekends.
