Immediate opening: framing carpenter (Montana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Lincoln County, Montana. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height The role involves: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
