The role involves repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine.
