HSE officer wanted in Walker County

Join our team: we are hiring a HSE officer in Walker County, Texas. The job is at an oil and gas facility. Day to day you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Pay around $4,500 per project, based on your experience.
