Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Columbia County, Florida. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T The role involves: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $130 per day plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
