Plant operator wanted in Rawlins County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Rawlins County, Kansas. You will work at a road and highway construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up You should have: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
