Immediate opening: rebar installer (Oyo State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Ibadan South West, Oyo State. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
