Rigging foreman • Maigatari, Jigawa State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Maigatari, Jigawa State. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Your main tasks: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Pay around ₦1,300 per hour, based on your experience.
