Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Powell County, Kentucky. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits.
