Formwork erector wanted in Alger County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork erector in Alger County, Michigan. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. On a typical shift you will watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing 5+ years on the tools preferred. $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
