Stainless steel welder • Bryan County, Georgia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Bryan County, Georgia. You will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
