Join our team: construction labourer (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction labourer in Poweshiek County, Iowa. You will be based with a civil contractor. On a typical shift you will stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
