Stamping press operator • Kirklees, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Kirklees, England. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Day to day you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
